A quiet meditation on love, memory, and what remains.
There are words in life that pass us by—ordinary, fleeting, forgotten. And then, there are words that stay, carve themselves into our being, and become the way we see the world.
For me, that word is simplicity.
Every morning, it whispers itself into my thoughts, reminding me of what truly matters. Today again, I felt it—her simplicity, a quiet radiance that lingers in my heart. It isn’t about perfection, or grandeur, or anything the world shouts about. It’s about ease, purity, and the unspoken beauty of being real.
“Simplicity was not just a quality; it was a home—a place where my heart belonged.”
There are days when life demands we “move on.” But how do you move on from a feeling so pure, so unshaken, so defining?
I carry her simplicity in my memories—untouched, unaltered. And if it means giving myself completely to those memories, then so be it. Sometimes love isn’t about possession or presence, but about holding on to the essence of what made your heart alive.
Her simplicity did that to me. It still does.
Maybe the world will say it’s foolish to live inside memories. But I say it’s brave—because it means refusing to let go of something that once defined your soul.
If sacrifice means cherishing her simplicity for a lifetime, I accept it. If devotion means keeping her in my heart, even when the world says otherwise, then I embrace it.
For me, simplicity isn’t just a word anymore. It is love. It is her. It is everything I still carry within me.
